To start using the digital wallet, the user must register with his mobile number, choose the mobile operator, and create a six-number password.

Bidi also allows payments to be made to the accounts of Monge, Oriflame, Instacredit stores, public services, and travel agencies, also in restaurants or premises that receive virtual money from the application.
"If people want to know the balance they have in their virtual wallet, they can go to the network points with their code and withdraw the money there, as if they were withdrawing money from an ATM," said Giovanny Portuguez, a project partner.
The digital wallet service is also used in conventional cell phones. That is to say, people who do not have a smartphone and are Kölbi customers through USSD technology can check balance, transfer money and pay bills to businesses, just by typing * 506 #.
